This mod will simply mute the *ding* you get whenever gaining XP by overriding the game’s audio file with a silent one.
Installation:
1) Open \Documents\My Games\Fallout4 and open Fallout4.ini
2) In the [Archive] section, locate line sResourceDataDirsFinal and append “SOUND\” so it looks like this: “sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, SOUND\” (plus whatever other modifications you need in that line, such as “TEXTURES\”)
3) Extract the archive’s sound folder to [your steam directory]\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data
Uninstallation:
Delete [your steam directory]\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\sound\fx\ui\ui_experience_up.wav. That’s it.
