Ten years ago there was a mighty, canine warrior roaming the Capital Wasteland whose sole skill was the ability to die over and over. It seems one of him puppies continued the grand bloodline and his descendant found his way to the Commonwealth.
I wanted to try my hand at a reskin, so here we go with FO3 Dogmeat! Fallouts very own canine Kenny is now your companion on your travels through the Commonwealth. It as a struggle to get this done and I’m still not satisfied; and he’s not 100% perfect, as the FO4 texture is mirrored on both sides, while FO3s Dogmeat had different markings on either side of his body. There’s some minor visible seams, mainly on his hindlegs, but I couldn’t get them fixed so this is as good as I got it. I had to paint some parts of his fur on top, as the recolor ate up most of the original fur texture.
Replaces Dgomeats default texture. Simply download and unzip the file, then add it to your data/textures folder or download with the mod manager. To uninstall, remove the files from your data folder or disable in the mod manager.
As it’s just a recolor it shouldn’t mess with your game and only clash with other mods that replace dogmeats default texture. If you still experience any problems let me know and I’ll
