Realistic Survival Damage

Realistic Survival Damage

Adjusts the player damage multiplier for Survival Difficulty to increase damage by 2 times normal difficulty, instead of decreasing it to 50%.

I really hate how spongy the enemies feel, and how many bullets it takes to kill them. I don’t want to play Borderlands. This makes Survival Difficulty much more similar to game like Metro, where damage is increased for both the player and enemies, making the game much more fun in my opinion.

This will make the game easier obviously, but overall I think it’s more fun to play a game where both sides have high damage.

Vazeron1 made a similar mod, but his only removed the damage nerf, it did not increase the damage.

There is an optional file which will change both the damage dealt by the player, and damage dealt by enemies, to 3x normal difficulty. This is similar to Skyrim’s Legendary Difficulty, but with high player damage instead of low player damage.

Installation:

You must add “bEnableFileSelection=1” to the “[Launcher]” section of the “Fallout4Prefs.ini”.

Copy the esp to your data folder. It should load without any more editing on your part.

You may need to add the esp to your load order manually. To do this, open up “AppData\Local\Fallout4” and add “Realistic Survival Damage.esp” to the “plugins.txt” after the “Fallout4.esm”.

I made this with Skyrim tools, and obviously official support is far off, so use at your own peril.
