Immersive Dismemberment Rate


I always found that everybody explodes in flying pieces of flesh way too easily in this game, but did not want to disable gore totally. Because gore is fun! But I think it’s funnier and less boring when it’s a little bit more surprising and less frequent. And that’s exactly what this mod does: it significantly lower the rate at which an enemy will get dismembered on death.

The default rate is 20% (I thought more…) and Immersive Dismemberment Rate can be set to either to 0%, 5%, 10%, 50%, or 100% depending on which variant you choose.

Some weapons, like 12-gauge shotguns, seems to dismember more frequently; I think it’s because every pellet roll his own dice, and there a lot. But it may be something else… I fact, I don’t think that’s a problem, because a 12-gauge shot in the head at point blank range is more likely to cause this type of things than a 10mm bullet.

NMM INSTALLATION:
As always, just click the button and activate the mod and the ESP plugin with NMM.

Open: …\My Documents\MyGames\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini
Search for sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS
Replace it with sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
Extract the content of the Data folder to …\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data
Activate the ESP plugin in …\Users\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins.txt
