Replaces the Synth Field Helmet’s texture with a black variant, giving a high-tech stealthy look. Fits in well with shadowed combat armor. Feel free to make any suggestions. This was created looking for more face covering head items, so sorry if it’s not to your taste. I hope you enjoy!
How to set up .ini for retexture mods
Open your Fallout4.ini file in: Documents\My Games\Fallout4
Find this line: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\,
Replace with this: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\
Save the file and then set to Read Only in properties.
How to install the retexture
Go to your Fallout 4 installation directory: Steam\Steamapps\Common\Fallout 4
Extract Black Synth Field Helmet.rar into Data folder
