Diamond City Signs – Retexture

Commonwealth Weaponry is the only sign redone thus far, ive tried to stay strictly to the vanilla look just better quality. I’m new to re-texturing so am still learning, it seems that the specular map from ‘interiors/building/bldconcreteceilinggross01_s.dds’ is assigned to this texture and is harming the look of my texture. I’m trying to learn how to re assign a different specular map. Any help on that would be highly appreciated. Thankyou to The nexus forum users for helping point me to this specular map.

To install use NMM or manually place in Data\textures\Architecture\DiamondCity after doing the steps in Gophers video linked below:

Please be aware that the only file I have modified so far is ‘diamondsigns03_d.DDS’ but this file contains multiple signs/ posters. I have only re-textured Commonwealth weaponry’s sign so far so the other signs/posters are vanilla but are resized depending on what file size you choose. To be fair this shouldn’t have much impact on performance.
